Grant Learning Garden Update
Thank you to all of the Grant families who came out on Monday night to support the GrowingGreat dinner held at Huckleberry! A special thank you to all our third graders for writing up the menus and our Grant student “servers”- Tess Goddard,Samara Koseff,J.J. and Alec Raymond,Kayla Lewis-Koury,Anthony Perini,Sophie Falk,Jack and McKenna Davis,Jessica Lieban,Ava Tung and Aoife Schenz. The evening was a huge success and raised enough money to fund a significant portion of the costs of the Grant Learning Garden, and pay for the roll out of the GrowingGreat gardening and nutrition curriculum at Grant this year.

The Grant Learning Garden team will be holding it’s first meeting on Friday,October 7th at 8:30am in the Auditorium. Please come if you are interested in getting involved in the delivery of the gardening and nutrition program. The GrowingGreat curriculum is designed to be delivered by parents in the classroom. We will also discuss other ways to get involved with the garden. Kids can play in the big yard,or attend the meeting with you. If you can’t make the meeting, but would like to be included in future Garden Team communications, please send an email to Jennifer Raymond at firstname.lastname@example.org or Jessica Tuck at Jesstuck@mac.com . Hope to see you there.
