School SMARTS Workshop on 1/31

Please plan to attend the School SMARTS Parent Workshop this Thursday, January 31st at 8:30am in the Skyroom!

We have a special speaker for our first session: Dr. Freda Rossi, the Coordinator of Family Engagement. She will talk about her roll in the district, Local Control Accountability Plan- LCAP, and the new Family Framework.

It's free!

We'll have simultaneous interpretation for our Spanish-Speaking parents. Every parent will receive a binder with lots of information about supporting kids at school.

There are a total of 6 sessions and we will have different speakers from the district and from the community on every session.

And, of course, there will be coffee!

All parents are welcome!

Los esperamos en la Academia para padres School SMARTS  este jueves 31 de enero a las 8:30am en el Skyroom.

En la primera sesión tendremos como invitada especial a  la Dra. Freda Rossi, Coordinadora de Participación Familiar. Ella hablará sobre su rol en el distrito, el Plan de Control Local de Rendimiento de Cuentasl - LCAP y el nuevo Marco de participación Familiar.

 Tendremos interpretación simultánea al español. Todos los padres recibirán una carpeta con mucha información sobre cómo ayudar a los niños en la escuela.

Hay un total de 6 sesiones y tendremos diferentes invitados del distrito y de la comunidad en cada sesión.

Y, por supuesto, habrá café!
